Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Gotham Technology Group Senior Technical Recruiter at Gotham Technology Group Overview We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to plan, coordinate, and verify the deployment of IT solutions into production, collaborating with product teams, IT operations, and PMO. The role focuses on advancing Agile practices, automation, and CI/CD to deliver functionality safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Maintain a Release Calendar to guide development and testing activities across environments. Conduct release readiness reviews, de-conflict sessions, and post-mortems to manage risks and resolve issues. Manage release schedules, dependencies, third-party applications, defect backlogs, and infrastructure updates. Proactively identify and escalate risks, define remediation, and drive resolution. Serve as the central point of contact, communicating release plans, timelines, and progress to stakeholders. Oversee release environments, code/data synchronization, and landscape management. Collaborate with DevOps and QA to improve release processes through automation and CI/CD best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 6+ years of release management experience, including release scheduling strategies (release windows, trains, continuous release). 2+ years of DevOps experience with automated deployment, regression testing, feature toggles, and self-recovering components. Advanced knowledge of SDLC, Agile practices, and project management principles. Strong partnership-building, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills. Curiosity and learning agility to address business and IT challenges innovatively. Mentoring, negotiation, and independent problem-solving skills. Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
