About The Role
The Sr. Business Data Analyst II collaborates with colleagues and partners to deliver customer-focused reports. Combining logistics expertise with analytical skills, this analyst provides high-quality reporting and support for both internal and external stakeholders. They possess deep knowledge of supply chain networks and advanced analysis abilities. The role includes guiding peers, operations, and customers to foster continuous improvement. This role will work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and will be based in the Rogers, AR Center of Excellence.
What The Candidate Will Do
Leverage Uber Freight data to develop reports and dashboards, improve existing reports and metrics, as analysis of data that give useful insights to various teams Functions as lead BDA developer and guides internal peers and management as necessary Provide project management support for internal and external partners for premium accounts Serve as primary analytical support for premium accounts acting as a business partner internally and externally. Perform analysis and support for premium service structure Perform entry level to advanced analysis based on customers’ needs aiding in network performance and potential savings goals Leverages big data tools and is current with the most recent data technology and processes Support full custom work and ground up development of customer facing products Support and establish efficient and automated processes for testing, assessing, and tracking data quality Identify and establish quality controls and cross-company alignment of key performance indicators Communicate to management process improvements made that reduce workloads or improve quality for assigned area(s) of responsibility
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Minimum 5 years of related experience Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, Excel, and Jira Supply Chain Experience (ability to perform continuous improvement analysis) Project Management Customer Facing Interaction
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in freight coverage and analysis at either a shipper, 3PL or carrier Working knowledge of the Transportation Management System (TMS) including Carrier Portal, EDI and FAM Ability to combine TMS knowledge and analytical expertise to provide insights to you manager that drive operational performance Ability to perform account benchmarking and generate non-standard KPIs relevant to account Proficiency in Power Automate, Python, Google Cloud, and Big Query End to End Supply Chain (Entire lifecycle, order to customer) PMP Certificate
