Key job responsibilities As Sr. Product Designer, you will establish overarching design strategy, execute fundamental design research, and lead design innovation activities. You are an outcome-oriented designer with a strong foundation in UX methodology, razor-sharp interaction design, and systems thinking. You also possess a bold and creative outlook using data, trends, and intuition to evolve design practices and uncover new product opportunities to delight customers. Alongside your UX prowess, we seek a designer who inspires cross-functional partners to build bar-raising experiences through effective communication and relationship-building.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences while planning and defining strategy for the direction of future experiences, all the way from concept to final implementation. - Clearly and persuasively communicate, specify, and describe design concepts, solutions and needs to senior executives.
- Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details.
- Advocate for your design solutions by leveraging diverse inputs that influenced the design decisions including customer and business goals, usage data, and research findings.
- Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Deliver work that's not only customer-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but which also produces results.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and product managers to create amazing user experiences that delight customers.
- Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in user research and assessing performance metrics.
- Contribute to the group’s shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies.
- Use humor, creativity, and positive energy to maintain personal and team momentum.
A day in the life In this role, you will have a significant opportunity to define and drive design strategy within ART19's platform. You will be responsible for building and relentlessly advocating for best-in-class CX (user interface design, branding, interaction models, prototypes, etc.) and seeing your design through to launch; then using data to iterate and improve. You will need a strong technical design understanding as you solve system and UX problems simultaneously.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 7+ years of design experience - Have an available online portfolio - Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), a related field, or 4+ years of additional experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices - Knowledge of usability principles and techniques - You have a good foundation of code and engineering capabilities and are able to execute lightweight coding of prototypes and some front-end work.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
