Location: Dearborn Heights- 26001 Ford. Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI, 48127
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Services Director to join our team in Dearborn Heights. The Social Services Director will be responsible for overseeing all social services programs and initiatives within the organization. This includes developing and implementing social service policies, coordinating with other departments to ensure the needs of clients are met, and managing a team of social workers. Responsibilities: Develop and implement social service policies and procedures Coordinate with other departments to ensure the needs of clients are met Conduct assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop individualized care plans Provide counseling and support to clients and their families Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to provide additional support and resources to clients upon discharge Follow CMS guidelines to remain in compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records Stay current on social services trends and best practices Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field Licensed Social Worker preferred Previous experience in social services management Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients
