Job Opportunity: System Administrator
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a System Administrator who will support a government contract in Fairfax, VA. Responsibilities for the System Administrator include: Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering. Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers. Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware/software. Support classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards. Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including virtualized environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell). Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure in accordance with RMF/JSIG standards. Qualifications for the System Administrator: 3 to 10 years of relative experience Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly Certifications: Security plus Strong background in Linux and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with IT hardware, networking equipment, and HPC systems. Compensation for the Sr. System Administrator: $110,000 - $200,000 *Depending on Experience. Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
