Sr. Solution Architect/Engineer - Networking , you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Supermicro's cloud solutions, taking our offerings to new heights. This role is crucial to expanding our business opportunities by ensuring that our cloud solutions meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Your contributions will directly impact product design, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness, making you an integral part of the team that shapes the future of cloud infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to work on complex and innovative projects that push the boundaries of networking and cloud solutions, all while collaborating with top-tier professionals and external partners to create groundbreaking solutions. What You'll Do: Lead Collaborative Teams:
Guide sales, FAE, and product teams in designing and engineering cloud solutions proposals to influence and win enterprise customers. Lead engineering, service, and technical support organizations to resolve all customer issues ensuring operational excellence in post-sales system and technology deployments. Design and define next-generation cloud solution architecture and work with product managers to manage product development cycles and customer delivery. Drive Operational Excellence:
Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure the product roadmap is competitive in the market. Shape Next-Gen Cloud Solutions:
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure clients' expectations and requirements are incorporated into the new platform. Support Customers & Stakeholders:
Ensure a seamless experience for customers by incorporating their feedback into the new platform and resolving concerns efficiently. Lead Technical Communication:
Write compelling technical white papers and collaborate with marketing to promote the final storage system. Enhance Product Visibility:
Review Supermicro systems and update cloud solutions web content quarterly based on available market trends. Collaborate Across Teams:
Partner with external solutions providers, VARs (Software, Hardware, Switch, Integration, services, etc.), for RFQ/RFPs and project management with external and internal teams. Design & Develop Cutting-Edge Solutions:
Develop cloud solutions in collaboration with external solution providers, VARs, and internal teams. What You'll Bring: Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience). CCIE or CCNP certifications are highly preferred. Networking Expertise:
At least 8 years of experience in network design and deployment. Deep Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of computer server hardware, networking, clustering applications software, cluster platform, and benchmarks. Experience in large cloud solutions, network architecture, and lifecycle management. Customer-Focused Mindset:
Experience working closely with customers to design solutions that meet their needs and resolving complex technical challenges. Strong Communication & Leadership:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to manage relationships, negotiate effectively, and work with high-level executives. Proven Track Record:
Experience leading large, complex projects, including winning mid- to large-sized clients and businesses. $156,000 - $181,000 The offered salary will depend on factors such as location, level, education, training, skills, experience, and comparison to current employees.
