Amazon seeks a highly organized, customer-obsessed, and data-driven Sr. Manager to lead programs in a complex environment linking customers, business, and support teams, maintaining high standards for customer obsession and operational excellence. The Sr. Manager, Billing & Payments will lead our WW B&P team, supporting all billing and payment issues for shippers, focusing on process creation and continuous improvement. The role involves working cross-functionally with operational and technical teams to enhance billing, payments, and credit check processes. Key responsibilities include:
Driving scalable solutions to ensure compliance with financial requirements. Engaging with leadership across organizations to design safety and compliance controls, processes, and systems, and driving improvements. Recommending risk mitigation strategies to senior management regarding compliance. Maintaining expertise on industry trends, regulations, and their impact on Amazon’s strategic roadmap. Building trust with business partners through proactive engagement and support aligned with business goals. A day in the life: Analyzing data, collaborating with stakeholders, reviewing and approving business expansion initiatives, and working with product teams to improve processes and enhance the shipper experience. 7+ years of experience in financial product or program management 5+ years of experience working directly with credit/finance teams 5+ years managing complex technology projects 5+ years of program management experience Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing payment and credit systems (reliability, scaling, design patterns) Roadmap strategy and definition experience Managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, process building, and release coordination Amazon is an equal opportunity employer, supporting diversity and inclusion.
