We have an opening for a Mortgage Loan Processor. This role provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure exceptional customer experience, with great communication through the loan process Assemble processing/underwriting file in accordance with our standards and SLAs Complete welcome calls and be engaged with the buyer throughout the fulfillment process Complete opening process and validate initial submission requirements are met Verification of loan officer calculations, and making updates to income, assets, debts on the 1003/LP/DU as needed throughout the process Submit change of circumstance requests according to our standards for valid changes Order appraisal, title, flood and other 3rd party services as needed Validate all documentation obtain for the file to ensure it meets the company's standards and supports the application presented Properly organize and file documentation in Encompass Maintain status and appropriate conversation logs in Encompass Monitor file throughout the process to make sure we compliant and following all applicable agency regulatory requirements Submit complete files to underwriting Clear file conditions and reach out to loan officer for assistance as needed Responsible for ensuring FINAL AUS, 1003 and 1008 matches underwriting conditions Work with the customer and loan officer to coordinate and schedule closing Submits completed/clear-to-close files to closing for final document preparation according to SLAs
Requirements
2+ years mortgage processing experience Knowledge of tax documents for self-employed borrowers and variable income Ability to come to quarterly in person meeting in the Chicago office Overall knowledge of residential mortgage guidelines, products, and regulatory requirements - TRID Encompass experience is a plus
