Job Summary The Senior Server Engineer supports data protection infrastructure across assigned data centers and data rooms, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Data Protection Technologies (Veritas, Cohesity)
Knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop and Linux/Unix OS
Experience with VMware Hypervisor, Citrix, and related technologies
Understanding of server hardware, storage technologies, and converged/hyper-converged platforms
Scripting skills for automation and reporting
Ability to produce technical documentation and diagrams
Experience scheduling upgrades and participating in off-hour maintenance
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency responses
Strong communication and security skills
Scheduling & Other Requirements
Full-time, hybrid work (3 days in-office), Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
On-call 24x7 once every 4 weeks
Travel between Oceanport and West Orange facilities as needed
