Job Title: Sr DevOps Engineer with iOS Knowledge on Swift
Employment Type: W2 Duration: Long Term Visa Type: US Citizen and GC Holder only Location: Ability to be hybrid in Overland Park, KS (three days onsite) Experience: Overall 5+ years, with at least one year in iOS or Swift Job Description
DevOps Engineer with expertise in telemetry tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, TICK, InfluxDB, Splunk, Hygeia, and custom telemetry solutions. Must have SQL skills and an operations mindset combined with development know-how. Knowledge of L1 thru L7 levels of telemetry is required. Some experience with iOS development and Swift is required. Experience working with MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools is preferred. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker, Marathon/Mesos, Kubernetes/EKS, and Faregate. Experience with logging and monitoring telemetry tools such as ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible, and infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools. Knowledge of API standards like Swagger and tools like PlantUML. Experience in the software project lifecycle, supporting and deploying systems involving Cassandra, Kafka, DynamoDB. Ability to build and design attractive dashboards. Experience in building and implementing development tools and infrastructure. Managing certificates, including installation and renewal to ensure they are up-to-date. Integration of scanning tools (SAST, DAST) into CI/CD pipelines and resolving vulnerabilities. Ensuring system security against cybersecurity threats. Identifying technical issues and developing updates and fixes across environments. Performing root cause analysis of production errors and pipeline issues. Conducting system true-up activities and quarterly server patching. Handling Taapsec requests, application, and API onboarding. Proficiency with GitLab workflows. Good knowledge of AWS cloud services. Strong problem-solving skills.
