Join to apply for the Sr. Tech Infra Program Manager, OTS Deployment role at Amazon 18 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicants Description The Global OTS Deployment organization manages a complex suite of projects and programs and is responsible for strategic initiatives that cross business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfillment IT. Our projects deliver solutions that power the physical fulfillment of customer orders, including managing site launches worldwide to support shipping packages to millions of Amazon customers. Role Overview As a Sr IT Deployment Program Manager, you will lead impactful projects across various regions. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver value, manage scope, budget, and timelines, and coordinate onsite and remote teams globally. You will also develop technology products, service standards, and oversee end-to-end project management. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, including scope, timeline, resource planning, and execution. Provide project management and guidance to ensure clarity on timelines, risks, roles, and responsibilities. Act as a point of escalation for project issues. Maintain knowledge of hardware and equipment standards for procurement. Manage change control, risks, issues, and contingency plans. Identify dependencies and critical paths. Plan and schedule project milestones. Track progress and communicate milestones, deliverables, and risks. Monitor installations and vendor quality onsite, ensuring standards are met. Coordinate project handovers and monitor deliverables until launch. Collaborate daily with stakeholders. Document critical processes for project success. This role involves frequent travel within the region and internationally (up to 50%). Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Experience managing IT projects from start to finish Knowledge of core IT network infrastructure and networking Project management training, PMP or Prince2 certification Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree Knowledge in LAN, WAN, Wireless, Telecommunications, Systems Administration, or data facilities technologies Excellent communication, conflict management, and negotiation skills Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Experience with site launches of IT infrastructure Procurement experience for IT equipment Knowledge of regional and European languages Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
