Overview
Experience with SONiC network operating system and FRR stack is required. Designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network hardware, topologies, and deployments (DC/Enterprise/Campus). Deep understanding of networking concepts, architecture, topology (Places-In-Network), and protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VXLAN, EVPN, IGMP, DHCP, BFD, VRF, Authentication (RADIUS/TACACS), Network Management protocols, NAT, Multicast, QoS (RoCE/DSCP), ACL, ZTP, Telemetry, Monitoring/Analytics. Understanding of switching, network security, and routing hardware architecture. Proficiency in Linux. Experience with C and scripting languages like Python/Go is a major plus. Experience in direct customer interface. Ability to write technical documentation such as Application Notes, FAQs, Installation Guides, User Manuals, Troubleshooting Guides. Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Ability to work on a rotation basis during weekends, holidays, and off-hours to align with North American and European working hours. Physical Demands
Work performed in a normal office environment. Extended periods of sitting and visual concentration required. Repetitive manual movements often required. Occasional travel may be necessary. Experience and Education
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; educational requirements may vary by geography. Salary Range
$130,000 - $160,000 USD/year. The range is an estimate and may vary based on duties, credentials, experience, or location. Additional Notes
