Swoon is actively seeking a Sr. Web Traffic Management Engineer to join the team!
US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder are required - (Sponsorship and C2C is NOT available at this time or in the future)
This is a 6+ month role
What your day-to-day look like?
- SME for mission critical platforms focused on the expert management of NGINX Plus, optimization of Fastly CDN configuration
- Expertise in the performance, security, and reliability of high-volume web services hosted in Azure
- Architect and implement traffic routing solutions for new and existing applications
- Manage and troubleshoot platform security
- Lead Incident response root cause analysis investigations, authoring blameless post-mortem reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ years of experience in cloud platforms, network engineering, DevOps, or Systems engineering with a focus on web traffic
- Expert level of experience with NGINX and NGINX plus as a primary traffic management platform
- Hands on experience managing and configuring Fastly CDN including proficiency with VCL
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure

Contract - 6+-month contract role
Location - Irving, TX 75063
Hybrid Role - 3 days a week on-site
Hourly Rate - $50-$55 an hour
