Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on developing new Java middle tier/server-side functionality with some front-end development involvement. As part of State Street's Alpha Platform, you'll be working with cloud-based technology utilizing Microsoft Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake. The position requires a strong background in Java development, preferably in the FinTech sector, with 4-8 years of experience. You'll be working in a hybrid environment, requiring 3 days in the office per week at either the Krakow or Gdansk location. The role involves new product development and requires either financial software experience or a strong understanding of financial markets. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and debugging complex software solutions. You'll collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. The tech stack includes Java, Spring, Microservices, React, SQL, C#/.Net, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and Snowflake.
