Description Position Overview: The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for managing data analysis initiatives, providing strategic insights, and ensuring high-quality data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires advanced technical expertise, independent judgment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to address complex challenges. The position involves significant responsibility, including training junior analysts, leading projects, and contributing to organizational strategy. Requirements Essential Job Functions: Lead the design and implementation of advanced data analysis processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from large and complex datasets to influence strategic initiatives and business decisions. Participate in the development and maintenance of databases and data systems, ensuring data is organized and accessible. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive analysis reports utilized to make informed decisions. Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices in data analysis. Act as a point of contact for cross-departmental data-related inquiries and initiatives. Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing tasks, managing resources, and solving complex problems without constant supervision. Evaluate existing tools and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data processes and efficiency. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data requirements and align analysis with organizational goals. Translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. 5-7 years of experience in data analysis roles, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and mentoring team members. Advanced skills in Excel (including Power Pivot and Power Query), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Key Competencies Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and exercise discretion in decision-making. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical insights to diverse audiences. Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing business needs in a dynamic work environment. Physical : Incumbents require sufficient mobility to work in an office setting; stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; operate office equipment including use of a computer keyboard; light lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling; ability to verbally communicate to exchange information. Vision : See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents; and to operate assigned equipment.
