Sterile Processing Support Resource Technician

Job Summary and Qualifications: As a Sterile Processing Support Resource Technician, you will serve as a consultant and resource in the specialty area and support system initiatives and the overall strategic plan. The Sterile Processing Support Resource Technician participates in the development of Sterile Processing education and programs that facilitate forward movement in the Sterile Processing Department. In conjunction with the Unit Director/Manager(s), the Sterile Processing Support Resource Technician continuously applies and shares knowledge regarding regulatory standards, laws, and hospital policies and procedures with supported staff. What qualifications you will need: Minimum of 3-7 years of Sterile Processing experience- required. 3-5 years of previous experience working with instrumentation and infection control procedures- preferred. High School Graduate / GED-required. Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST)- required upon hire.
