Jefferson's in-house temp service, JeffTemps, is searching for multiple Sterile Processing Supervisors to support our Center City campus. Hours: M - F 5:30am - 1:00 pm OR Sunday - Thursday, 9:00am - 6:30pm The Supervisor of Sterile Processing has responsibility for coordinating and facilitating assigned shift operations and services provided to our customers. The Supervisor assists with coordination and oversight of work and work assignments for staff processing, distributing sterile materials, and/or Case Cart. They have responsibility in overseeing quality control in the sterile processing department including diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems and the management of surgical instruments. The Supervisor demonstrates the Jefferson leadership philosophy, leads a staff and assists the department manager with human resources, including staff planning, team building and performance management that fosters excellence and teamwork. The Supervisor maintains a high level of internal visibility in the supervision of the department and is responsible for assisting with staff training and development. The Supervisor interviews job applicants, has direct reports, completes annual performance appraisals for direct reports and handles disciplinary actions for direct reports as appropriate.
