Primarily responsible for assisting the management team with key operational activities required to support a highly functional relocation team. This level Consultant is also responsible to perform all tasks and activities necessary to effect a successful relocation for primarily high level and executive level transferring employees. This level Consultant may also be asked to provide some support for the day-to-day corporate client contact for resolution of problems or to communicate pertinent information. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Leads team through exemplary service and compliance to Lexicon policies and procedures Assists mgmt with key operational requirements such as but not limited to file audits, contract review, inspection and appraisal reviews Assists mgmt with coaching, mentoring , recruiting and selection of team as well as performance input for team members as requested Provides formal, day-to-day and spot training of department staff in conjunction with the mgmt team – may include creation of training documents Participates in benchmarking analysis and provides assistance in developing and implementing new policy provisions Manages a caseload primarily consisting of high level or executive level transferring employees and serves as the single point of contact Exhibits thorough understanding and utilizes relocation experience in counseling the Client’s corporate relocation policy including expense administration, numerous relocation service offerings and benefits management consulting if appropriate Diaries and follows-up on all outstanding relocation related services and documents with appropriate internal and external parties Acts as liaison to Client for exception approval Executes homesale and home purchase contracts on behalf of Lexicon Relocation Reviews cost-of-living calculations before presenting to transferee Supports data integrity goals by entering key relocation related information relating to transferee, service provider network, Client, etc., into system Demonstrates a willingness to improve job-related skills, responding to direction and constructive feedback in a positive and professional manner Shows flexibility and creativity in completing work assignments Attends and actively participates in all team and/or other meetings and training sessions as deemed appropriate Develops and maintains a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, Clients and service partners Accepts additional job assignments and participates in project work as requested Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual and Lexicon’s Policy and Procedures manual Specific Job Skills
Demonstrated Leadership Skills Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills for counseling employees at all levels Highly customer service oriented Requires ability to act independently and provide guidance/advice to Consultants, transferees, providers and clients and to lead global projects and interface with client’s HR Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday Ability to multitask and organize workflow to meet deadlines and prioritize work Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Education and/or Experience
College degree or equivalent work experience preferred Minimum five years experience in relocation or closely related industry (real estate, mortgage, property management, and so on) Minimum two years supervisory or equivalent experience Minimum two years relocation Consultant or equivalent experience CRP designation required.
