Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree. 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders. 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting. 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment. Experience with investigative tools/techniques (SQL, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, spreadsheet software). Experience implementing strategic initiative projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requirung a high degree of deadline-driven productivity. Ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
About the job In this role, you will be exposed to Google’s support and services operations across a wide range of products and customers. You will be responsible for aligning vertical operating teams across gTech, and will work cross functionally with finance, vertical gTech teams, Sales Operations and People Operations on developing plans, and setting and monitoring gTech’s performance against our business goals. You will also provide thought leadership by delivering compelling analyses to support data-driven decision making. You will have the opportunity to shape how we deliver customer care and how we drive efficiencies across a global operations team. You will be responsible for understanding portfolio trade-offs, defining business metrics, and business performance management. You will partner with executive stakeholders to think through strategic issues, and communicate effectively with senior executives to drive significant strategic initiatives.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Contribute to projects that design, execute, and measure impact of strategic initiatives. Own hypotheses to key strategic issues and be the main contributor to findings and solutions by partnering with peers to deliver data-driven insights and synthesize recommendations for executive decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally across business areas and regions to drive insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and working teams, based on analysis, experience, technical acumen, and good judgment. Support existing strategic initiatives through ongoing analysis and project management. Identify additional areas of opportunities and develop strategic plans, and mobilize stakeholders to execute to improve customer and seller satisfaction.
