Base pay range
$135,000.00/yr - $176,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Enscicon Corporation As a senior Bridge Engineer, you’ll work on a wide range of projects from long-span highway bridges to transit structures and rehabilitation of aging infrastructure. This is a highly visible leadership role leading complex infrastructure projects, mentoring talent, and influencing how communities connect and grow. Responsibilities Lead Projects Serve as a senior technical lead on bridge and structural projects for highway, rail, and transit applications. Manage the full project lifecycle—from preliminary studies and TS&L reports to detailed design, estimates, and construction support. Ensure deliverables meet or exceed industry standards for quality, accuracy, and constructability. Mentor and Inspire Review and check structural calculations, plans, and specifications to ensure engineering excellence. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, building the next generation of bridge design talent. Lead or support condition inspections, load ratings, and structural evaluations of in-service bridges. Collaborate and Deliver Results Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Build strong client relationships through technical leadership, responsiveness, and delivery excellence. Support business development through proposal preparation, technical writing, and pursuit strategy. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 10+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington or Idaho Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD bridge design standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Demonstrated leadership, clear communication, and client-facing skills Physical ability and willingness to conduct field inspections Preferred Qualifications Structural Engineer (SE) license in Washington or Idaho Experience with WSDOT and ITD bridge design standards Familiarity with bridge inspection practices and load rating methodologies Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Employer-contributed Health Savings & Lifestyle Spending Accounts 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holiday pay 9/80 flexible schedule (every other Friday off) Support for continuing education and training Holistic Wellbeing Program supporting your physical, emotional, financial, and community health Seniority level
