OnRamps prepares students and teachers for success in the classroom and beyond. Raul Pineda - Supervisor Up to 15 hours weekly. Schedule to be determined with supervisor. Students will be allowed to work remotely from Austin, Texas. Responsibilities
Assists the Instructional Designer with day-to-day operational aspects of initiatives within OnRamps, an innovative dual enrollment program at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing excellence in all aspects of project and customer-service delivery. Works alongside subject matter experts to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content for OnRamps online courses. Performs data entry, management, and reporting in OnRamps learning management system, and other research- and business-management platforms. Creates supporting media (including audio, video, and games) for OnRamps online courses. In collaboration with OnRamps program staff, engages in continuous improvement processes toward achievement of program objectives and staff leadership principles. Attends & contributes to project meetings: write minutes, capture, and report action items. Maintains project documentation in line with OnRamps Project Management Methodology. Performs various administrative tasks, including copying, filing, and transcription. Conducts instructional research and analysis to aid in continuous improvement cycles. Required Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin. 1+ year experience working in professional office environment. Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Academic interest in Education, Instructional Technology/Design, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field. Interest in and knowledge of local, state, and national dual enrollment and college-readiness initiatives/programs. Experience providing customer support Experience with MS Outlook, Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), Smartsheet, and/or Ticketing software.
