Classification Title: CLIN AST/ASO PROF Job Description: The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, Department of Surgery is seeking a full-time academic breast surgeon at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor. Our team at UF Health Jacksonville is a highly skilled group of surgeons who work alongside a talented multidisciplinary team approach to breast care. Major responsibilities include providing the highest quality care for our breast surgical oncology patients, building a robust practice, teaching, and research. Candidates should have a MD/DO in General Surgery and be able to obtain a Florida Medical License. Preferred Qualifications: BE/BC is preferred. Prefer a completed fellowship in Surgical Oncology / Breast Surgery. Experience in building a practice in a competitive environment is preferred. Special Instructions to Applicants: The Search Committee will begin to review applications as soon as an applicant pool is identified. Please provide letter of intent and Curriculum Vitae. The final candidate will be required to provide an official transcript to the hiring department upon hire.
