Cloud System Administrator and Engineer
The Opportunity
Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting mission-critical infrastructure? Were looking for a system administrator who can understand and design networks and systems to help us maintain and upgrade mission hardware and software applications.
As a system administrator on our team, youll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies, and update and patch critical systems. Youll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.
This is an opportunity to gain experience in systems administration for cloud platforms. We focus on growing as a team, so well share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have
2+ years of experience configuring and deploying cloud architectures with AWS resources Experience maintaining system security, including applying patches and configuring equipment Experience in requirements discovery and refinement with clients Ability to reconcile client needs with delivery timelines TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience with systems engineering, integration, or Tier 3 system administration on Linux systems, or 5+ years of experience with systems engineering, integration, or Tier 3 system administration on Linux systems in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
