Overview
The engineer will plan and coordinate daily activities of propulsion dynos and vehicle related testing which may include collaboration with technicians and laboratory support engineers.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related degree field Demonstrated a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the area of spark ignition engine controls and calibration Strong familiarities related to engine system development including related technologies and subsystems such as combustion, valvetrain, fuel system, boost systems, EGR systems, aftertreatment systems, controls and its algorithm including diagnostics Feature calibration experience with exposure to optimizing drivability, emissions, and fuel economy Experience in launching applications meeting US based ACC/ACCII standards and regulations as well as ROW markets including (Enlarged Europe, APAC, LATAM) Data acquisition experience collecting and processing data providing meaningful summaries and next steps Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently Effective communication skills and able to create and present information in a clear and concise manner to colleagues and management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering Demonstrated a minimum of 1 year of experience in leading product applications conforming to US based ACC/ACCII standards and regulations as well as ROW markets (Enlarged Europe, Asian Pacific, South America) DFSS green belt or higher Execution of Problem-solving techniques (RedX, Six Sigma, 3L5W, Kaizen, 5S)
