Chief Perfusionist - St. Augustine, FL Hiring NOW We are seeking an experienced perfusionist to join a hospital in St. Augustine, FL, as Chief Perfusionist. This staffing model includes two perfusionists supporting one surgeon. The hospital handles an annual pump case load of 200, including 80 standby TAVR cases. St. Augustine, renowned as the oldest city in the United States, offers a unique blend of historic charm and coastal living. Residents enjoy miles of beautiful beaches, vibrant cultural attractions, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate perfusion services in collaboration with the surgical team. - Ensure high-quality perfusion support during cardiac surgeries and procedures. - Develop protocols and standards for perfusion practices. - Train and mentor perfusion staff. Requirements: - Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) with extensive experience in cardiac perfusion. - Leadership experience or potential, with a commitment to team-oriented care. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
