Database Administrator/System Engineer
reporting to the Director of Development and the Chief of Infrastructure and Network Officer. The successful candidate will support DOI's Case Management System (CMS), Microsoft SharePoint 365, OpenText Content Management System, and internally developed applications. Responsibilities include technical design, system enhancements, maintenance, and establishing system architecture and specifications. Key Responsibilities
Oversee CMS system/project implementation, including scoping, planning, and delivery of enhancements and defect resolutions. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Coordinate with IT teams and business units to ensure infrastructure readiness and smooth transition of software and database objects from design to production. Preferred Skills
Minimum of 5 years in Database Administration. Strong knowledge of Linux, scripting, and support for Microsoft SQL Server (2019+), Oracle RDBMS (11g/12c/19c), and Oracle RAC. Experience with database backup, restore, security, and Oracle BI/Analytics reporting. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Agile/Lean practices, networking, TCP/IP, Java/J2EE, ASP.NET, and design patterns. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions. Additional Information
