We are looking for a talented business analyst to join the Regulatory Intelligence, Safety & Compliance [RISC] Global Data & Analytics [GDA] team. This role is a key member of the Analytics team, responsible for driving analysis and insights to support business decisions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze data, discover and solve problems, build metrics and business cases to improve customer experience, and provide data support for escalations to mitigate risk. You will identify process and system improvements, develop automated reporting solutions, and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent statistical and analytical skills, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, and strong business acumen. You should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, and eager to innovate. Key Responsibilities
Creating automated reports and dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, Quicksight, etc. Partnering with Program, Legal, and Tech teams to understand challenges and provide analysis. Providing data support for escalations and questions using PostgreSQL and AWS solutions. Mining data to uncover trends and develop insights for decision-making. Designing and executing analytical projects with statistical analysis. Promoting self-service data solutions for stakeholders. Building relationships with senior leaders to align analytics with business goals. Contributing to team planning with a clear vision for analytics solutions. 6+ years in tax, finance, or related analytical fields. 5+ years of SQL and BI report experience (Tableau, Power BI). Bachelor's degree. Experience with requirements definition, data analysis, and metrics. Proficiency in Excel and SQL. Ability to influence stakeholders and make business recommendations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
MBA. Experience with large datasets. Skills in Python or R. Experience with AWS services like S3, Redshift, EMR, Spark. Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
