We are looking for a Systems Development Engineer II who is forward-thinking, and skilled at simplifying complex problems, while ensuring an exceptional customer experience!
A successful candidate will be an innovator, developing solutions for Amazon's most demanding government clients and addressing their needs through a suite of Analytics services in air-gapped environments. You will help resolve technical challenges and enhance the customer experience.

A Day in the Life
As a Systems Development Engineer II in Analytics, you will be responsible for:
Creating innovative solutions, expanding services into ADC regions, and enhancing operations for customer resilience.
Influencing technical strategy and architectural decisions, utilizing data-driven approaches.
Contributing to best practices in operational excellence by actively participating in ticket resolution and infrastructure advancements.
Building and operating AWS Analytics services that enable customers to maximize their data.
Addressing unique engineering challenges in air-gapped regions while innovating to automate operational tasks and supporting security initiatives.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of professional software development experience.
1+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
Fundamental knowledge of systems engineering (networking, storage, operating systems).
Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years in networking, storage systems, and hands-on systems engineering.
