Description
The Sponsor's Biotechnologies Team Systems Integrator (SI) role is one full-time position central to the coordination and smooth daily operation of the Biotech team as well as the overall business operations of the Sponsor's department. As part of the Biotech team, the SI will be a trusted position to coordinate and manage activities related to a variety of sensitive topics to include planned research in emerging and disruptive technologies, mission partner engagement, potential operational applications of novel technology, as well as budgets and resource management. With a small but dynamic team of researchers, the SI must be adaptable, resilient under pressure, and capable of operating independently.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Developing/drafting/coordinating Biotechnology portfolio roadmaps and strategies to facilitate innovation, collaboration, outreach, and communication efforts in alignment with Sponsor priorities in coordination with the Biotechnology Principal Investigator.
- Supporting the development of Biotechnology portfolio briefings and documents, to include (but not limited to) project and program overviews (technical and budget), conference presentations, leadership meetings, technical exchanges, external engagements.
- Coordinating internal and external engagements on behalf of the Biotechnology Principal Investigator.
- Documenting and tracking key takeaways/actions from all Biotechnology internal and external engagements and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
- Coordinating and tracking Taskits and other actions from office and department leadership.
- Knowledge management of Biotechnology research portfolio to include maintaining awareness of all Biotechnology projects and managing all relevant project documentation from source selection to project completion reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Current TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
- Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience with budget or resource management.
- Proven ability to adaptively prioritize time-sensitive issues.
- Self-starter who is flexible and willing to meet the challenges and changing needs of a dynamic organization.
- Knowledge of and experience with technical directorate components and ability to coordinate externally with mission centers.
- Technical background or familiarity with biotechnology or related discipline.
