Systems Analyst 3
Location: Austin, TX
4 Days Remote, 1 Day Onsite
Start Date - 10/1/2025
End Date - 8/31/2026
Submissions due by 8/3/2025
This is a Systems Analyst 3 position that will work closely with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. This person will be expected to understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Thorough experience with PeopleSoft FSCM is required.
Key Responsibilities Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system Must have experience implementing PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules and must excel in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and mapping data to and from legacy systems and third-party interface systems
