Position Overview Join us in supporting the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its partners. You will work with a team experienced in environments including ground, near-space, and space, addressing strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ collaborates with USSF and DoD to design, develop, deploy, and maintain systems vital to national security and warfighter survivability. We seek Systems and Logistics Engineers skilled in modeling and simulation (M&S), capable of interpreting results and integrating various M&S tools across organizations. Candidates should have experience managing logistics and sustainment of large integrated systems and work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success. The salary range is $125,000 - $175,000 USD, reflecting various experience levels. Compensation factors include role responsibilities, experience, location, education, and skills. Responsibilities Provide systems engineering across the entire life cycle for space-based, ground-based, and ground systems C2 services. Oversee space systems development, including concepts, requirements, and architecture. Conduct modeling-based systems engineering and analysis, such as requirements flow-down and verification. Support configuration and risk management processes, offering recommendations. Required Qualifications Proficiency in modeling and simulation across platforms. 10+ years of experience integrating modeling and simulation in space systems. Background in logistics and sustainment of large systems. Experience developing and maintaining system risk programs, including risk identification and mitigation plans. Master's degree (MA/MS). Expertise with Cameo software. TS/SCI clearance; #qinetiqclearedjob. Preferred Qualifications Experience with USSF and Space Systems Command. Experience in acquisition development environments.
