Asphalt Laborer (Full-Time, Starting April) Location: Findlay, OH Position Type: Full-Time (Seasonal, with potential for permanent position) Hours: Varies Based on Project Schedule Pay: $17/hour (subject to reevaluation based on current economy) Job Overview: Our client is looking to hire Asphalt Laborers to join our team starting in April. The Laborer position involves assisting with the laying and sealing of asphalt for residential and commercial projects. Candidates with prior experience in asphalt work are highly encouraged to apply. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. Responsibilities:
Assist in laying, sealing, and repairing asphalt on various residential and commercial job sites. Prepare surfaces for asphalt application, including cleaning and smoothing. Operate basic equipment and tools used in asphalt paving and sealing. Work in varying weather conditions and outdoors for extended periods. Assist in the general maintenance and cleanliness of the work site. Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Travel to different job locations based on the project needs. Requirements:
Previous experience in laying and sealing asphalt is preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain may delay projects). Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are preferred, as travel between job sites is required.
