Job Duties and Responsibilities
This Program Manager position falls within our Video Services Technical Operations team. While primarily a member of the Video Services Organization, Technical Operations supports various business groups internal to DISH, and externally with our vendors. As a Program Manager, you will be a key player in DISH's software release process.
The Technical Operations Team is required to be exceptionally versatile to support many aspects and directions of the business. This team is data driven, using a variety of tools and dashboards to keep a pulse on emerging trends to help our business partners prioritize fixes and investigate potential issues, all to deliver the best customer and product experience possible.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive initiatives that enhance platform stability and scalability. Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to meet project goals. Provide clear direction and motivate team members. Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track. Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues. Track and evaluate program performance against established KPIs and objectives, and make adjustments as necessary. Identifying and addressing challenges and obstacles that may arise during program execution, finding creative solutions to complex problems.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from accredited university in related field 1-3 years of experience influencing and driving strategic, cross-functional initiatives within large organizations
Skills and Qualifications: Technical understanding of DISH set top boxes and operations Ability to prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and demonstrate a sense of urgency Analytical and symbolic reasoning skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent teamwork skills with ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, as well as basic working knowledge of other G Suite and Microsoft Office products Sharp attention to detail is a must; high personal standards for quality and thoroughness Technical comprehension with the ability to quickly learn about new products and services Well-developed verbal and written presentation skills

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year Benefits

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
