Accountabilities:
Oversees research, development, and maintenance of coverage forms. Ensures timely and compliant filings and subsequent implementation of approved forms and rates, ensuring very low error rates. Ensures effective handling of state filings objections. Collaborates in development of Product Roadmap including prioritization and scheduling. Coordinates communication of product and rate changes to internal staff. Supports communications to external parties. Participates in the selection and implementation of appropriate tools and systems to support product management and filings processes. Continuously identifies and implements improved processes and controls. Coordinates communication of process changes to internal staff. Participates in implementation of approved initiatives. Participates as SME on a variety of committee and task force assignments as needed. Ensures Commercial Systems enhancements in support of Product Management are implemented as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of training and/or experience. Eight (8) years of Commercial Underwriting and Product Management experience required, preferably in the Non-profit or Religious Organization area niches. Four (4) years of supervisory or management experience required. Demonstrated ability to use advanced product management and team management concepts, practices and procedures within the commercial P&C insurance field. Awareness and understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in the markets served. Strong analytical skills with an ability to compare data to formulate and prepare objective reports. Thorough understanding of the Commercial Property and Casualty environment. Drive, passion and sense of excellence necessary to achieve and exceed goals with a continuing optimistic vision. Demonstrated leadership experience and presentation skills. Ability to convey clear, concise information to others, using verbal or other appropriate communication techniques. Must be flexible and comfortable with taking calculated risks, solutions oriented and possess keen insight into short and long-term strategies. Awareness and understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in the markets served. Strong analytical skills with an ability to compare data to formulate and prepare objective projections Compensation:
$100,500 - $167,500 commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility $110,700 - $184,500 commensurate with experience in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA, plus bonus eligibility Benefits:
