Software Engineer III Job Location:
301 West 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Requires in-office work three (3) days every week. Job Description:
Lead technical efforts to create and integrate application program interfaces (API) to connect M&T core banking and product services to the Online Business Banking Platform; Design solutions by refining requirements to create Jira or TFS tickets and deliver required features & services; Manage SDLC from creation of an application to production support; Work with team Product Owner (PO) to define work to be completed by team by establishing technical requirements using Agile practices & Jira, ServiceNow; Review work performed by software engineers in API development tools including Python, Java SpringBoot, Gitlab, RedHat OpenShift and Microservices Design Patterns to ensure conformance to industry best practices, M&T standards, and PO defined requirements; Use DevOps methodology to deploy code internally or externally to vendor platforms; Use Agile or Waterfall workflow management tools including Jira, TFS, or ADO; Transition application code into production by obtaining infrastructure, creating service accounts and active directory (AD) groups and setting up network monitoring; Work with Vendors to establish interfacing requirements and data migration requirements; Implement Single-Sign On (SSO) to enable third-party products and services; Support Voyager Decommissioning by assisting with the development of API Management (APIM) policies; Evaluate technical capabilities of potential vendors; and Guide and mentor junior and senior level software engineers. Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Consultant, Delivery Project Lead, Project Manager, or related technical field. Requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Designing solutions by refining requirements to create Jira or TFS tickets and deliver required features & services; Managing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from creation of an application to production support; Utilizing API development tools including Python, Java SpringBoot, Git Source Control including Gitlab, Kubernetes Containers including RedHat OpenShift, and Coding Design Patterns; Using DevOps methodologies to deploy code internally or externally to vendor platforms; Using Agile or Waterfall workflow management tools including Jira, Git, or ADO; and Using ServiceNow.
