Overview
You will report to the Director of Cloud Governance and join a dedicated squad of developers in the Atlanta Technology Center in Atlanta, Georgia. You will partner with architects, security experts and interact with engineers in peer squads, but this role will allow you to focus on what you truly enjoy - delivering quality code and software features that make a difference.
WHAT YOU BRING
In addition to the requirements described above, successful candidates will exhibit the following: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline or any combination of equivalent relevant education, training and experience • Experience in Python/Golang (preferred) or similar automation/scripting languages • Experience in ETL workflows using spark, AWS Glue, or similar pipelines • Cloud infrastructure development or resource management experience using public cloud provider platforms and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) • Experience in Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Pulumi, etc. • Knowledge of Agile principles and Sprint Planning, including planning/backlog tools (e.g. JIRA) • Knowledge of cloud governance principles, strategy, risk, compliance. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Innovative problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing creative solutions to technical challenges.
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required: • Governance, risk and compliance knowledge and appreciation. • Experience in cloud security best practices • Some knowlege of Cloud Custodian and Open Policy Agent Rego • Some experience in building dashboards and reporting and creating metrics from data • Basic knowledge of Cloud Security/Cybersecurity practices • Experience with big room planning processes such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
