Responsibilities: Advise the investment bank on capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements, and registered or 144A/Reg S note offerings. Coordinate with legal, regulatory, risk, compliance, privacy, and vendor management teams. Support review of policies and procedures for legal and regulatory compliance. Supervise outside law firms on specific projects as appropriate. Qualifications: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to the Texas Bar or a reciprocal jurisdiction. 5-7 years of legal experience in representing investment banks in capital markets. Experience with contract law and contract lifecycle management. Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to financial institutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods in an office setting. Willingness to work onsite at Texas Capital Center, 2000 McKinney Ave., Dallas, TX 75201. Location: On-site position at Texas Capital’s headquarters in Dallas, TX. No travel required.
