Responsibilities include interfacing with students, staff, and visitors to promote safe wheeled transport and creating wheeled safety information. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions: Enforce No Wheels on Lopes Way policy Report accidents, injuries, and near misses Provide directions and general information about GCU to students and visitors Develop flyers, documents, and safety tips related to health and safety Equipment Used and Responsibility: MS Office Qualifications: Driver's License Ability to adhere to a schedule Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and serve Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow safety protocols (training provided) Experience/Education: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements for student employment at GCU: Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program Maintain a GPA of 2.0 (Bachelor’s) or 3.0 (Master’s) Maintain good financial and academic standing (SAP) Failure to meet minimum requirements may result in termination. Physical Requirements: Sitting: 0-2 hours/day Standing: 6-8 hours/day Walking: 1-4 hours/day Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, grasping, and fine eye-hand coordination Occasional driving Work Environment: Primarily outdoor work with exposure to temperature variations, weather, noise, and dust.
