Organization: SLH-Sutter Lakeside Hospital Position Overview: The Environmental Services Aide maintains assigned areas in a clean orderly and sanitary condition by performing work assignments in an effective and prescribed manner. This position responds to special request for cleaning or assistance needed in order to maintain the overall smooth flow of work for the facility in a through and timely manner. This also includes using various types of disinfectants and germicidal cleaners. Job Description: Education: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience Preferred Experience as Typically Acquired in: Experience as an ESP Aide/housekeeper in a patient care facility is preferred but not required. Job Shift: Varied Schedule: Per Diem/Casual Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: Every Weekend Benefits: No Unions: Yes Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 0 Employee Status: Per Diem/Casual Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $24.00 to $24.39 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
