CVOR (Cardiovascular OR) experience (required). IV insertion & phlebotomy skills . Conscious sedation experience . Certifications & Licensure: Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required). AHA BLS & ACLS (required). Skills & Competencies: Procedural Expertise: Pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient management. Sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and assisting surgeons. Emergency response (e.g., hemorrhage control, rapid transfusions). Patient Care: Monitoring anesthesia/sedation. Handling high-acuity cases (trauma, cardiovascular, etc.). Unit & Surgical Details Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center (Bellevue Hospital). Case Mix: Likely includes complex trauma, vascular, and general surgeries (CVOR focus). Team Structure: Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs.
