Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 6 months Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in Cath Lab - Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting with a variety of interventional procedures. Daily caseload typically includes 15 patients. Candidates are expected to chart in any electronic system. First-timers are accepted for this position. On-call requirements include 8 call days within a 4-week period. One call weekend is required every 3-5 weeks, with 24 hours on-call duty. Floating within the Cath Lab unit is necessary to meet facility needs. Candidates must possess ARRT licensure. Key procedures include Structural heart interventions such as TAVR, Mitraclip, and Watchman. Common equipment used includes Philips imaging systems and Boston IVUS/IFR/FFR. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV Teams and Physical Therapy. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages 15 patients across 5 procedure rooms.
