Please make sure techs are aware of performance expectations. Fast paced outpatient facility that requires autonomy, effective teamwork, great communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility.Daily Caseload: 30 to 50 mammogramsShift: Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The technologist will be compensated for time spent traveling to and from the work site while riding in the van. If van assignments are unavailable, the technologist will be scheduled to work at one of our physical breast clinic locations. Weekend REQ: Occasional Saturday work may be required, depending on operational needs. Is on-call REQ? NoOvertime - Technologist must be willing to shift work hours if overtime is involved. For example, if the tech works beyond her contracted shift, she may be asked to come in late the next day to eliminate overtime.Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Must perform Screening and diagnostic mammograms.Radiation Badge Req (Y/N): NoJob DescriptionResponsible for performing high-quality mammography according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) standards to ensure accurate physician interpretation. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomical positioning, radiographic techniques, and adherence to ACR and MQSA regulatory guidelines. Must be capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative, critical thinking, and precise technical positioning. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed quality control records to meet DHEC and MQSA inspection standards, scheduling regular equipment maintenance, completing workflows, and collaborating with team members and leadership to uphold health and safety compliance while minimizing equipment downtime. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with leadership, team members, departments, customers, and diverse patient populations to reduce barriers to care and promote health literacy within the community. South Carolina RN License: MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active. RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7 days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process We can only submit to one MUSC unit/campus at a time.
