Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist
Full-Time, Day Shift, Rotating 12-hour Shifts | Geneva, NY | Generous Compensation Package
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our partner hospital in Geneva, NY, as a Hospitalist. This is an excellent opportunity to provide exceptional care to hospitalized patients and be part of a collaborative and supportive team, all while enjoying a healthy work-life balance with flexible, rotating 12-hour shifts.
Provide Comprehensive Inpatient Care
As a Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients throughout their hospital stay. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of medical conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments, including history and physical examinations. Develop and implement treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications. Perform procedures as needed. Educate patients and families. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education/Certification: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Board Certification. Licensure: NYS License.
