Truce Law is looking for a fully remote Family Law Paralegal II with a minimum of 1 year of paralegal experience in Washington state to join our legal team. Our ideal Paralegal II is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as declarations, prepare briefs, conduct legal research for hearing preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. If you're interested in advancing your paralegal career with growth opportunities, we want to hear from you.
Our law firm sets itself apart by marketing to clients who are looking for a low-conflict collaborative divorce, with contested divorce cases being the exception at our firm. If you want to spend more time with clients who are interested in settling their divorce peacefully through negotiation, Truce Law is the place for you. As a remote Family Law Paralegal II at our firm, you’ll work with legal mentors who have decades of experience helping clients negotiate difficult divorce challenges, while also playing a key role on your legal pod committed to helping families achieve faster results by resolving legal issues with less conflict, and less litigation. Clients want to negotiate healthier co-parenting arrangements for their families and hire us because they don’t want to go to court. We are looking for a team player who loves creative problem-solving, and who wants to help couples and families move forward using conflict resolution rather than an adversarial approach.
Our team loves working for Truce Law because of our relaxed atmosphere, and our focus on collaborative law, which means our legal team isn’t regularly facing the kinds of higher conflict cases (and the associated stress involved). Our mentors are committed to nurturing your growth and development as a family paralegal within our firm. Finally, we have a diverse staff from around the world with quarterly events, both online and in person, to bring the team together.
