ROLE OVERVIEW:
Within an assigned area/territory, the Merchandiser is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Tryon accounts by performing sales, merchandising, and other support duties as assigned.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide excellent customer service to all assigned accounts Stock, merchandise and rotate product on various displays and shelves according to industry standards Assist delivery drivers by unloading products, checking in and stocking orders Build displays and store resets as required Report daily activities within assigned territory QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
Must be 18 or older Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75lbs Excellent Customer Service skills Must be a team player and work well with minimum supervision Knowledge of safe work practices Ability to work in a warehouse environment in all types of weather Ability to drive throughout assigned route in all kinds of weather and road conditions Ability to work within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment PREFERRED
High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year in service-oriented position Experience with a material handling equipment (i.e. hand truck, dolly, pallet jack) WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee will perform work in these areas:
In vehicle while in route to customer locations Customer locations The noise level in these areas is normally moderate.
