Description As a Restructuring Director, you will work alongside recognized industry professionals across diverse sectors, leading projects that drive value preservation and creation for prominent organizations. You will oversee teams managing turnaround, restructuring, performance improvement, and corporate advisory projects, helping underperforming businesses navigate complex restructuring processes.
Your responsibilities include developing and executing restructuring plans, managing teams, analyzing business plans, overseeing financial models, leading negotiations, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement restructuring and turnaround strategies to enhance organizational performance and value.
Manage daily team operations, ensuring adherence to plans, budgets, and schedules.
Serve as a primary contact for specific workstreams within client engagements.
Perform business plan analyses and review financial models.
Lead clients through processes like working capital improvements, bankruptcy preparations, and negotiations.
Assess operational performance drivers and develop business plans.
Review cost reduction initiatives and bankruptcy strategies.
Implement cash conservation controls.
Mentor and evaluate junior staff performance.
Working with Others You will collaborate with senior management and experienced professionals, building relationships with clients, legal counsel, and investment bankers, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years in restructuring, investment banking, consulting, or related fields, with at least 5 years in direct restructuring roles.
BA/BS degree; MBA/MS preferred.
Understanding of Chapter 11 proceedings.
Professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CIRA, CPA, CFA) are preferred.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, financial modeling, and analysis.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel 100%.
Additional benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and a discretionary bonus. The salary range is $200,000 - $225,000, depending on experience and location.
