PRN 8 am - 4:30 pm; minimum requirement: 2 weekend days per month and 1 holiday per year; weekday availability as needed. Location:
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N Oak St, Hinsdale, IL 60521 The role you’ll contribute: Evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language therapy. The value you’ll bring to the team: Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard techniques suitable for the patient's condition. Educates and counsels patients and their families regarding treatment plans. Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement protocols. Assists with patient discharge planning from speech therapy services and provides information on support programs. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: One year of hospital experience preferred. Master's degree preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained prior to hire or transfer. Current Illinois license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or a Temporary license if in Clinical Fellowship Year. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is recommended. Job:
