We are looking for a UI Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translating design mockups into front-end code that will produce the UI of the application. You will bridge the gap between product design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. This is a HYBRID position. Will work primarily remotely but occasional meetings in the Irving TX or Pittsburgh PA office are required, so applicants should be within reasonable commuting distance to Irving or Pittsburgh (Moon Township, PA) office. Responsibilities Implement and maintain user interfaces that align with business objectives, product vision, technical standards, and accessibility best practices, ensuring long-term performance and maintainability. Develop and document reusable UI components that promote consistency, scalability, and alignment with evolving design systems. Explore and apply AI-assisted development tools to streamline workflows, enhance code quality, and drive continuous efficiency improvements across the UI development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype user experiences, enabling iterative product development and early validation of design concepts. Who You Are You possess 4+ years of experience in UI development, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable, and high-quality user interfaces. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3+, and modern responsive layout techniques. Familiar with CSS pre-processors, JavaScript/TypeScript, and UI frameworks with an understanding of how they support styling, layout, and component behavior. Experience using AI-powered development tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, enhance code quality, and improve team productivity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience in UI development, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable, and high-quality user interfaces. A strong portfolio that demonstrates past UI development projects. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3+, and modern responsive layout techniques. Experience developing reusable component libraries and contributing to shared UI systems that promote consistency and scalability. Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as SCSS, SASS, or LESS, and the ability to write clean, maintainable stylesheets. Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and UI frameworks such as Angular 15+ and Bootstrap, with an understanding of how they support component behavior, layout, and styling consistency. Experience using AI-powered development tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, enhance code quality, and improve team productivity. Working knowledge of accessibility standards, with hands-on experience implementing WCAG 2.1 AA compliant interfaces. Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail, with thoughtful consideration of trade-offs between usability, performance, and technical feasibility. Experience working with design systems, including integrating and extending shared UI patterns. Proficiency with version control tools, such as Git, for collaborative development and change tracking. Familiarity with build tools and ahead-of-time compilation, using Node/NPM-based systems such as Webpack or Angular CLI. Proficiency in using Figma for design collaboration, handoff, and interface exploration. Demonstrated ability to apply product thinking and lead rapid prototyping efforts, enabling teams to explore ideas, validate user needs, and iterate quickly toward effective, user-centered solutions. Creative and effective problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset and a willingness to explore new approaches. Ability to read and analyze business process workflows and user journey diagrams to inform UI decisions. Familiarity with user- and business-centric product development processes, especially in enterprise environments. Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps for task tracking, CI/CD, or release management. Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
