Unarmed Security Professional - Government Site - Overnight Shift

Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an unarmed post, but you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and strong communication skills while interacting with the public and staff. You will also provide exceptional customer service, supporting a welcoming atmosphere and upholding the values of Allied Universal by acting with integrity, reliability, and teamwork. What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures during daily operations. Support emergency response efforts as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
