Asset Protection Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations Maintain a professional relationship with local authorities and law enforcement agencies Assist the undercover asset protection team Professionally greet customers Provide 5 star customer service Assist leadership with cash handling and transfers Observe customers and associates for potential acts of theft or fraud Taking appropriate action to prevent theft Assisting in monitoring store compliance with company policies and procedures relating to theft deterrence, safety, and operational controls, as assigned by the supervisor and/or ASL Team/Store Leader Maintain a high visible deterrent to crime and positively influence the security incident rate as well as assist with inventory controls Safety Help mitigate security risks to provide a safer environment for employees and customers Assist in customer/employee incidents and emergencies Assist in emergency store procedures Welcome all customers, visitors, and vendors professionally and assist them in locating staff within the stores Issue electric handicapped shopping carts to customers and assist in obtaining wheelchairs and shopping carts Communicate and properly tag property being brought into the stores including personal property, equipment for service, and firearms Watch facilities and parking areas on foot. Direct traffic during special events or heavy customer traffic, while enforcing parking regulations Make regularly scheduled floor and exterior walks to ensure the safety and security of the customers and facility Complete monthly reports on safe or non-safe practices found on the sales floor or backstocks First Responder Retrieve shopping carts from parking areas React as necessary and assist in handling any situations

High School Diploma/GED College graduate preferred Proven track record of strong communication and organization skills Preference for candidates with prior Loss Prevention (2-3 years) Currently certified or willing to become certified in CPR and OC (Oleoresin Capsicum aka pepper spray) foam deployment Schedule Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 5 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Friday, 9:30 a.m.- 9:00 p.m., Saturday, and 10:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, must be available minimum of two weekends a month. Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
